Diablo 2 gameplay teleport2/2/2024 It becomes worthwhile to sink a lot of skill points into it, where there still is a clear trade-off from the fast teleport. The life cost is very small when the cool-down is large, but becomes more substantial with a stronger skill. The concept is preserved - more power costs more life blood (or HP, as is the case). Say 1 or 2 points per level (I think 1 point per level would actually be enough - it would quickly add up without being prohibitive for any single cast of the spell). Implement a flat hp cost that increase with skill level. Keep reduced cool-down with skill points all the way down to zero cool-down. The penalty is invariant with skill level - it should preferably increase as cooldown decreases. The life cost is far too high -> you can only realistically/safely cast it very rarely -> there is no point in putting more skill points in it and so the reduced cool-down becomes meaningless. I realize all of this is alpha, but a friendly suggestion hopefully can't hurt :)Īs I see it, the problem with the skill is this: I love the concept for the spell, but it seems to me to be very poorly implemented right now. This particular post is meant as a suggestion for what I think is a better implementation of the Necro teleport skill. I am very excited from what I have seen of the project so far!
